Andrea is a professional with more than 7 years of practice in the development of corporate sustainability strategies and consulting in ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), Agenda 2030, innovation and social responsibility. He has been a lecturer on the subject and has participated in joint projects with UNESCO and Harvard University. In his professional practice he has advised relevant capital market players such as Fibra Monterrey, Vesta, Elementia, Alsea, Gentera and Grupo BAL.

Her most recent experience was at WeWork Mexico as community lead and in charge of the Circular Economy Strategy where she promoted the circular economy through the implementation of sustainable practices in WeWork’s corporate structure. Previously, she worked as a consultant for ESG and CSR projects at the Social Value Institute, where she carried out the development and execution of ESG projects, the design of the ESG Experience platform and the implementation of high impact strategies. Between 2016 and 2018, she worked as an alternative energy project analyst at Grupo INDI, where she also participated in the development of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies.

As a developer of sustainability and corporate social responsibility projects, she was part of the team in charge of the project-plan research of the largest Waste-to-Energy plant in Mexico, in charge of researching the industry in more than 10 countries in Europe, this project led to a subsequent collaboration with Mota Engil in waste management projects.

Andrea is an expert in the development of Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development strategies and has proven to be an effective leader in the implementation of projects with a positive impact on society and the environment. She has participated as a speaker in ESG panels, the most recent being “The role of women in organizations and as precursors of ESG issues” organized by the Social Value Institute.

She graduated from Universidad Anáhuac with a degree in Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Management, where she received a mention for academic excellence. Additionally, she has completed the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) acceleration program offered by the BIVA Institute and the Social Value Institute, as well as the Basic Wholesale Electricity Market Course accredited by the National Energy Center (CENACE).
