He is a professional with more than 30 years of experience in consulting, design, construction, maintenance, conservation and operation of infrastructure projects. He has participated in the following infrastructure subsectors: roads, railroads, ports, airports, hydraulic works, environment, urbanization and construction, tunnels, waste treatment engineering, health and safety coordination.
Francisco has international experience. His professional career began in Spain, where he has participated in works of great importance such as: Line 2 of the Barcelona Metro for the regional government, railway works for the railway managers of the Government of Spain and the regional government of Catalonia, the construction, modernization, rehabilitation, conservation and maintenance of highways and roads, including the Sitges – El Vendrell highway, the A3 highway in the province of Cuenca and the extension of the evacuation gallery of the Cadi Tunnel in Catalonia.
Francisco’s experience in Mexico has led him to lead engineering, supervision, consulting, construction, operation and maintenance projects for roads, highways and railroads, including the establishment and development of relationships with the corresponding federal and state institutions. Among the most important Mexican projects in which Francisco has participated are the Querétaro – San Luis Potosí highway, the Atlacomulco – Maravatío and Jala-Compostela and Ramal a Compostela highways, the PPP of the Arriaga-Tapachula highway section, the Tren Maya and lines 1 and 2 of the Mexibús in the State of Mexico.
His most recent experience is as infrastructure director of Grupo INDI, which will allow ARKE to instantly transfer capabilities and experience in its initial portfolio of assets. Previously he has held important positions in several relevant companies in the sector such as: FCC Construcción in Spain, PAYMACotas in Spain, AugingIntraesa in Brazil, Audingmex in Mexico, Grupo Aldesa in Mexico and MEXTYPSA in Mexico. He is a member of the Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos de España.
Francisco graduated from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia with a degree in civil engineering. He has a management development program from IESE Business School.
