Located in the heart of Aguascalientes, Mexico, this cutting-edge photovoltaic solar plant represents a major leap forward in sustainable energy. Backed by approximately US$150 million in committed capital - including leverage - this project is engineered to produce an impressive 284 GWh of clean electricity annually, powered by 104.5 MW of installed capacity.
Currently in its pre-construction phase, ground will break in March 2025, with commercial operations set to launch in May 2026.
To ensure top-tier performance and reliability, PF Protón I will integrate an advanced energy storage system covering 35.53% of its installed capacity. Its environmental impact will be profound: every year, it will prevent the emission of over 158,000 tons of CO₂, 500 kg of SO₂, and 385 tons of NOx.
Connected to the National Transmission Grid via a 230 kV line, this project will not only power the region with clean energy - but it will also help strengthen the backbone of Mexico’s energy infrastructure.
